10/26/10 01:11 am - Goodbye pimples!

Found 2 ways to bid goodbye to pimples:
1) Get enough sleep
2) De-clutter your life
3) Don't hurry through every day

which means to manage time wisely so that you complete what's necessary & get enough rest. Also found out that relaxation is a really good way of resting! Go for a healthier & happy lifestyle!

10/24/10 11:28 am - Relaxed Sunday

Satisfied after completing the 10K Nike Run. More to come next time, I'm sure.
Looked at my pair of trek shoes, & I feel like trekking mountains again. The kind of satisfaction is always at the end of a certain endurance.
Still reminiscing about this morning, I began to think about what I've done at 21. Entering adulthood, I started fulfiling what I wished to do in life slowly. Then I looked back and recall the different experiences I had before. I realized I had many interesting & enjoyable moments!

Growing up is an enjoyable process. Just remember to do what you like & go for little dreams :)

10/7/10 10:26 pm

O LORD, you have searched me
       and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
       you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
       you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
       you know it completely, O LORD.

You hem me in—behind and before;
       you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
       too lofty for me to attain.

 Where can I go from your Spirit?
       Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
       if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
       if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
       your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
       and the light become night around me,"
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
       the night will shine like the day,
       for darkness is as light to you.

For you created my inmost being;
       you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful,
       I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
       when I was made in the secret place.
       When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
       All the days ordained for me
       were written in your book
       before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139

9/24/10 10:13 pm

"I want to accept Jesus into my life, as my... personal savior."
This came slightly unexpected from a girl during class. How I wished to lead her in the sinner's prayer right away!

Now this is what makes my work joyful.

9/16/10 01:20 am - From the book: When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric & Leslie Ludy

"Leslie, what are the main qualities you've always wanted in a man?"

I thought for a moment, then whipped out the mental checklist I'd tucked away in a corner of my mind, adding to it over the years. "Well, I want someone who is completely focused on Christ, someone who treats me like a princess, someone who is sensitive, strong, full of integrity, servant-hearted, and loves kids." Then I laughed at how ridiculous it all sounded. "I guess I'm holding out for Prince Charming," I admitted.

"Not really," her friend replied. "Just think about all those qualities you mentioned. Who can you think of that is the perfect example of all those character traits?"

"Uh... Superman?" (I'd had a thing for Clark Kent since fourth grade.)

"No. Jesus Christ," she responded. "The desires you have for that kind of man have been in your heart from a young age. But you are not the one who came up with those longings. It was God who put them in your heart, because He wants you to look for a man who is like Jesus Christ."

Wow

9/14/10 11:38 pm

I wonder if all that we have been doing is effective at all.
Is it because we are half-hearted?
Or that's just how this generation is?
Do they even get what me mean??

9/14/10 12:02 am - Home is still the best!

Clean, safe & many service-oriented people in the shopping centres.

I guess JB is not as scary as I thought after all. During day time. And there's not much to shop with most prices jacked up. Then again, don't mind going back again another time. For seafood.

So it was my first time crossing the causeway alone, which actually wasn't such a big deal. Smooth traffic even on Hari Raya Puasa. The building of the immigration checkpoint was surprisingly neat. Was expecting a run-down building.

So in the end my expectation to have couple of hours of silent retreat was not met. Still, I had a memorable & fun time taking photos & chilling with the ladies!

10.09.10

Baskin Robins! Yums, especially the mint flavour! 5.50RM

After a long day of shopping at Jusco, had Kenny Rogers (with their bad service & poor understanding of english)

I ordered a 15.90RM baked potato meal & guess what, one of my sides was wrong

& instead of replacing it, I got a big bowl of vegetable pasta salad for free! The fruits didn't look fresh too =/

Then there was this kid who were playing peek-a-boo with us!

Our suite at Austin Hills Golf Resort. HUGE!

With a private jacuzzi!

Few rounds of "Pounce!" Easy yet exciting game

This is what I love about the suite!
